Arun Petrichor Bharali (born 7 October 1967 in Brackley, Northamptonshire, England) is an Anglo-Indian film director, producer and screenwriter.〔http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0080236/〕 Bharali trained initially as a musician, receiving a starred first from York University, UK, before completing a Ph.D. in Music Composition at the University of California, San Diego under the supervision of Brian Ferneyhough and Rand Steiger. He made his feature directorial debut with an English language Bollywood themed satire entitled "Lookalike".
